Due to increasing wood stocks in the German forests, the production of wood pellets has been steadily increasing for years. At 1.299 million tonnes, the first half of 2019 is the best half in history for the production of pellets than ever before in six months.
Compared to the same period of the previous year, this growth once again increased by 150,000 t (just under 13%).
