Valmet has announced plans to restructure parts of its manufacturing operations in Sweden and Poland, including the closure of two facilities and proposed changes at a third site. The Finnish engineering group said it will begin union negotiations within its Global Supply unit regarding the planned changes. The measures concern manufacturing operations in Sundsvall and Gothenburg in Sweden, both of which the company intends to close.
