The Swiss company Tschopp Holzindustrie AG has completed its new sawmill in Buttisholz, replacing the previous plant which had been operating at full capacity in three shifts for several years. Construction began immediately after the building permit in early 2021 and was completed following a two-year installation phase. At the heart of the facility are two Logmaster HPS Quadro bandmills from USNR AB, providing a total of eight bandsaws capable of cutting at speeds up to 180 m/min.
