European softwood lumber exports to Japan continued to expand in 2025, with both shipment volumes and export values posting solid year-on-year growth. Trade data show total European exports reached 2,592,829 m³, up 14% from 2,283,987 m³ in 2024. In value terms, exports climbed 19% to €804.4 million, compared with €673.6 million a year earlier.
