Roundwood prices in Sweden moved only modestly during the third quarter of 2025, with calculated prices for sawlogs edging lower while pulpwood prices continued to rise. New data released on 18 December by the Swedish Forest Agency show diverging trends between assortments, reflecting weaker demand from sawmills and steadier fibre demand from the pulp and paper sector. The prices refer to calculated prices for harvesting assignments and do not reflect prevailing spot market conditions during the quarter.
