Roseburg Forest Products has restarted construction of its Dillard MDF project in southern Oregon, reviving a major investment aimed at expanding its medium density fiberboard production and strengthening its position in the western North American panels market. The project had been placed on hold in early 2025 as the company reassessed its investment plans due to uncertain economic conditions and concerns about possible policy changes in Oregon that could have affected the project’s viability.
