The European Commission will impose a 5.4% provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of softwood plywood from Brazil, effective Wednesday, Nov. 5, following an investigation into alleged below-cost exports. The measure, set out in Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2219, applies to plywood “consisting solely of sheets of wood (other than bamboo), each ply not exceeding 6 mm thickness, with both outer plies of coniferous wood,” currently classified under CN code 4412 39 00.
