Norwegian timber prices have started to decline after reaching historic highs earlier in 2025, although average price levels remain well above those recorded a year earlier. Official data show that the average price received by forest owners in the third quarter of 2025 stood at around 864 NOK/m³ (€73–75/m³), slightly lower than in the previous quarter but still approximately 25% higher year on year.
