North American lumber prices show mixed movement at the end of May

North American lumber markets ended May with a mixed performance, as benchmark softwood lumber products remained largely stable while several key grades moved in opposite directions. Western Spruce-Pine-Fir (WSPF) 2x4 #2&Btr kiln-dried held steady at US$495/mbf, unchanged from both the previous week and a month earlier.
