Norra Skog reports record timber contracting in 2025

The Swedish forest owners’ association Norra Skog contracted a total of 3.9 million cubic metres under bark (m³fub) of timber in 2025, the highest level recorded by the association. This compares with 3.6 million m³fub in 2024, reflecting an increase in advance agreements with member forest owners. Timber contracting means that harvest timing and commercial conditions are agreed in advance between forest owners and the association.
