New Lumin plywood mill in Uruguay nearing startup

Construction of Lumin’s new plywood mill in Melo, in Uruguay’s Cerro Largo department, is advancing, with commissioning underway and startup planned for July 2026. The project represents one of the largest recent investments in Uruguay’s wood processing sector.
