Metsä Group’s results plunged sharply – falling wood prices bring hope for this year

The year 2025 was exceptionally difficult for Metsä Group. This year is expected to be easier, largely due to the decline in wood prices. Metsä Group's result last year fell sharply into the negative. The total operating result was EUR –271 million, compared to a profit of EUR 186 million a year earlier.
