Latvijas Finieris invests €100 million to expand Verems plywood mill

Latvijas Finieris has completed a €100 million expansion of its Verems RSEZ SIA plywood mill in Vērēmu parish, increasing production capacity and adding new processing lines. The project adds a 19,964 m² building, bringing the total plant area to 49,228 m². Plywood output capacity is set to rise to about 85,000 m³ per year from around 45,000 m³ previously. Project preparation began in 2017, with construction starting in September 2022.
