Austria-based wood-based panels producer Kronospan has begun construction of its long-planned particleboard plant in the Ponte Rosso industrial zone of San Vito al Tagliamento, Italy. The €300 million investment, first announced in 2020, officially moved forward in November 2025 with the groundbreaking and installation of the first structural pillar.
