Ikea to buy more forestland in the Baltics

Inter Ikea Group is expanding its forest ownership in the Baltic region with a new agreement to acquire approximately 24,000 hectares of forest assets in Latvia and Lithuania from Dasos Timberland Fund II, a private equity fund managed by CapMan Natural Capital. The investment is estimated to exceed the fund’s return target.
