Hörmann to build sawmill, glulam plant and pellet plant in southern Germany

Hörmann plans to build a sawmill, a glulam plant and a pellet facility in Buchloe, southern Germany. The project has received approval from the local authorities. The site covers around 12 ha and is located near the company’s existing headquarters. The aim is to process logs through to finished timber construction elements on one site. The sawmill will include drying capacity as well as storage and logistics areas.
