Prices for lumber used in pallets and packaging in Germany continued to rise in February, while plywood prices declined and OSB showed only limited movement. The HPE wood price index, compiled monthly by the German Association for Wood Packaging, Pallets and Export Packaging (HPE) in cooperation with the University of Bonn, tracks purchasing prices for lumber and wood-based panels used in pallets, crates and export packaging.
