German wood industry criticizes EUDR changes: Relief or worsening planned?

Many forest owners and wood processors were hopeful when the European Commission announced at the end of September that it intended to postpone the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) once again. However, according to the German Timber Industry Association (HDH), the current plans appear more like a change from the past rather than genuine relief.
