Finland: Timber trade tight at the end of the year

The pace of log trading in Finland strengthened last week as year-end approaches, according to figures released by the Finnish Forest Industries Federation. Purchases from private forests by member companies rose to just over 730,000 cubic metres, an increase of nearly 120,000 cubic metres compared with the previous week.
