In Finland, timber prices continued to decline in January 2026, while industrial roundwood trade volumes contracted sharply compared to last year. Stumpage prices for sawlogs eased slightly. In standing sales, the average price for spruce logs stood just above €77/m³, while pine logs averaged a little over €73/m³. Birch logs were priced slightly above €58/m³.
