Construction recovery: Germany sees sharp rise in building permits

Germany saw a significant recovery in building permits for residential construction in July 2025, marking positive news for the country’s construction sector. According to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), 22,100 new housing units were approved last month, an increase of 30.0% or 5,100 units compared with July 2024.
