CEI-Bois welcomes publication of European Commission housing package

The European Confederation of Woodworking Industries (CEI-Bois) has welcomed the European Commission’s publication of its new Housing Package, saying the initiative could play a meaningful role in addressing housing needs while advancing sustainability and industrial competitiveness across the EU. CEI-Bois said the European Affordable Housing Plan, the European Strategy for Housing Construction and the expansion of the New European Bauhaus together create a framework that supports several key policy priorities.
