US-based building products distributor QXO has agreed to acquire Kodiak Building Partners from Court Square Capital Partners for approximately $2.25 billion. The transaction includes $2 billion in cash and 13.2 million QXO shares, which the company has the option to repurchase at $40 per share. The deal is expected to be finalised in early Q2 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
