Mercer International’s shares have come under renewed pressure following the release of the company’s first-quarter 2026 results, with the stock now trading below the US$1 level on Nasdaq. The company reported a net loss of US$52.0 million for the first quarter of 2026, compared with a net loss of US$22.3 million in the same period last year.
