Swedish roundwood prices weakened during the first quarter of 2026 as slower industrial activity and softer pulpwood demand cooled the market after the exceptionally strong pricing environment seen throughout much of 2025. Preliminary data from the Swedish Forest Agency showed lower prices for most major assortments compared with the fourth quarter of 2025, particularly for pulpwood and pine sawlogs.
