Italy’s woodworking machinery makers outperform expectations in 2025

Italian manufacturers of woodworking machinery closed 2025 with a production value of €2.398 billion. This corresponds to a slight decline of one percent compared to the previous year – significantly better than originally expected. The main reason for this was a strong domestic market. As the Italian industry association Acimall reports based on current Istat data, the balance for 2025 turned out better than forecast in the preliminary estimate.
