Spearhead is investing $60m in a new glue-laminated timber (glulam) production facility in Nelson, expanding its capacity in engineered wood manufacturing. The new plant, under construction adjacent to the company’s existing operations in Nelson, will introduce a dedicated glulam production line alongside advanced CNC machining, strengthening its capabilities in complex timber structures and prefabricated building components.
