Roundwood prices in Finland showed diverging trends in February, with sawlog prices in standing sales remaining close to the previous month’s level, while pulpwood prices continued to fall. The decline in standing-sale pulpwood prices has now lasted for eight consecutive months, although the decrease in February was smaller than in the preceding months. In standing sales, spruce sawlogs were purchased for an average of €78.12/m³ and pine sawlogs for €73.19/m³, both close to January levels. Birch sawlogs also remained unchanged at €59.09/m³.
