The United States has opened a new administrative review of trade duties on several imported wood products, placing Canadian lumber exporters and Chinese wood manufacturers under renewed scrutiny. The review, announced by the U.S. Department of Commerce on March 9, 2026, will examine imports made during the 2025 calendar year. Final results are expected by January 31, 2027.
