Mercer’s lumber output declines as log shortages hit solid wood division

Lumber production at Mercer International declined in the fourth quarter of 2025 as limited log availability continued to affect the company’s solid wood division. Reduced fibre supply and seasonal production slowdowns weighed on output during the period. According to the company’s latest results, lumber production in the fourth quarter reached 108.6 million board feet, about 5% lower than in the same period of 2024.
