Austria: Spruce sawlog prices remain stable despite higher supply

Timber supply has increased at the beginning of the year, while demand remains stable across most assortments. Spruce sawlogs in quality class B, Media 2b+, are currently trading at €128–130 per m³ (net, ex-road). Demand from sawmills remains solid. However, logistical bottlenecks are slowing transport in some regions, leading to temporary delivery delays. Winter conditions are favourable, with no significant pressure from blue stain or bark beetle.
