Croatian State Forests raise timber prices by eight percent

Croatian State Forests (Hrvatske šume – HŠ) have increased the prices of all timber assortments by an average of 8 % for 2026 contracts, citing sustained inflationary pressures and higher production costs. HŠ said the price adjustment reflects rising labour costs, elevated energy and fuel prices, and increased expenses for harvesting and transport services.
