The Thebault Group, France’s leading producer of plywood panels, is expanding its presence across Europe and preparing to enter global markets with laminated veneer lumber (LVL) from 2026, the company said. Headquartered in Magné, in western France’s Deux-Sèvres department, the family-owned group currently operates in around 20 European countries and exports about 70% of its annual plywood output. The company produces roughly 125,000 cubic metres of plywood per year, making it the national market leader and the fifth-largest plywood producer in Europe.
