Egger has completed the modernization of its oriented strand board (OSB) plant in Wismar, Germany, five days earlier than planned after a 52-day shutdown. The project aimed to increase the plant’s production capacity by at least 15%, according to G. Siempelkamp GmbH & Co. KG. The upgrade included new mat formers, a preheating system, new hot platens, and pressure distribution plates for the continuous press.
