Mocopinus, one of Germany’s oldest timber processors, has filed for insolvency under self-administration after more than 160 years in business. The company, founded in 1865 and known for producing timber façades, terrace systems and interior finishing products, employs around 270 people across its sites in Ulm, Karlsruhe and Ammelshain near Leipzig. The District Court of Ulm has opened provisional insolvency proceedings and appointed attorney Georg Jakob Stemshorn as insolvency monitor.
