Tariffs to be introduced on EU hardwood lumber exports to the US

The European Organisation of the Sawmill Industry (EOS) said a 15% tariff will apply to hardwood lumber exports shipped to the United States starting 3 December 2025. The measure follows the latest U.S. trade policy actions under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act, which broaden duties on timber, lumber and related wood products.
