UK imports of softwood lumber from EU member states increased strongly in the first ten months of 2025. According to Eurostat, shipments reached 7.05 million m³, up 39% from 5.06 million m³ in the same period of 2024. In value terms, imports rose by 57% to €1.91 billion, supported by firmer demand and higher average export prices.
