EU, UK timber groups reaffirm stance against Russian, Belarusian wood

European and UK timber industry bodies issued a joint statement underscoring their firm stance against the import of wood products from Russia and Belarus, reiterating that all companies must comply with long-standing sanctions. The declaration, published by Timber Development UK (TDUK), was signed by CEI-Bois, the European Timber Trade Federation (ETTF), the European Organisation of the Sawmill Industry (EOS) and TDUK.
