Germany exported 5.747 million m³ of softwood lumber in January–September 2025, down 6% from 6.085 million m³ in the same period of 2024, official trade figures show. The value of exports rose 9% to €1.590 billion, reflecting stronger prices in several overseas markets and a marked shift in destination patterns.
