Logging in Sweden in 2025 is expected to increase modestly compared with last year, according to a forecast from the Swedish Forest Agency. The authority estimates that gross felling—the total volume of felled trees, including what remains in the forest—will reach approximately 87.6 million cubic meters. This represents an increase of 0.5 million cubic meters, or 0.6 percent, compared with 2024.
