Sharp rise in Sweden’s softwood lumber exports; UK and USA lead gains

 Sweden exported 9.56 million m³ of softwood lumber in the first eight months of 2025, up 29% from 7.40 million m³ in the same period of 2024. The total value rose 47% to €2.82 billion, reflecting both higher volumes and rising prices in key markets.
