Latvia’s softwood lumber exports continued to expand in the first eight months of 2025, showing a healthy increase in both volume and value compared with the same period in 2024. Total exports reached 2.22 million cubic meters, up 28% from 1.73 million cubic meters a year earlier, while the corresponding export value surged by 55% to €641.5 million, reflecting higher average prices across most markets.
