Rettenmeier opens new sawmill in Latvia

German timber producer Rettenmeier has inaugurated a large sawmill in Inčukalns, Latvia, boosting its presence in the Baltic region and strengthening access to local spruce and pine resources. The facility, one of the largest in the Baltics, has a planned annual cutting capacity of more than 1 million cubic metres of logs. It includes a planing mill, high-performance sorting system, and a pellet plant designed to recycle residual materials.
