China’s plywood exports rise in the first half

China’s plywood exports reached 6.49 million cubic metres in the first half of 2025, valued at US$2.52 billion, representing increases of 2% and 3%, respectively, compared with the same period in 2024. The destinations for China’s plywood are numerous, with shipments to the top 10 markets accounting for nearly half of the national total during the first six months of 2025.
