Latvia’s Stiga RM completes €22.4 mln upgrade of birch plywood plant in Kuldīga

Latvian wood processor Stiga RM has completed a €22.4 million modernization of its birch plywood plant in Kuldīga, aimed at expanding production capacity and improving product quality amid growing demand in Europe and global markets. The project, launched in early 2023, was co-financed with €5.145 million from the state-owned Development Finance Institution ALTUM, under its large investment loan program with capital discount.
