The German Federal Cartel Office has approved Rettenmeier Holding AG’s acquisition of key operations from the insolvent Ziegler Group. Following Ziegler’s insolvency, administrator Volker Böhm signed the purchase agreement with Rettenmeier at the end of January, securing several strategic assets, including Ziegler Holzindustrie GmbH & Co. KG (sawmill), Ziegler Naturenergie GmbH, Ziegler Forstservice GmbH, and Holzzentrum Ziegler GmbH.
